Here is the completed wash underpainting for a new studio piece. It is to capture a wonderfully quiet little afternoon event, where a kitty became fixated on a particular shadow slowly moving about: "Ladybug?" 24 x 30 oil painting - in progress.
Here is an easel snapshot of my late autumn afternoon plein air painting. It's good to be back with it, and wrestling anew with an inspiration I've been following for a couple years now. I'll update again before long with new progress: "December Bright" 14 x 24 oil painting in progress.
